November 30, 2009 Recap & Highlights

Episode Recap and HighlightsAfter his opening standup, which included George's thoughts on the Tiger Woods accident, George revealed the results of the online Jessica Alba DNA poll, and reminded everyone to tune in tomorrow night for the REAL results.

In response to the overwhelming reaction to the Latina Barbieta doll, George read some comments from the website... and proposed a new doll.

George interviewed Katey Segal from "Sons of Anarchy," who talked about her new show, and her relationship with Gene Simmons of Kiss! George pointed to the many ways her character seems like a Latina.

"Dancing with the Stars" beauty Joanna Krupa stopped by, and showed some pictures from her spread in the newest issue of "Playboy." (George is on the back cover, in a less flattering light.) Krupa, an animal rights advocate, also premiered her racy new PETA ad... the hottest photo in the history of animal cruelty prevention.

Joanna and George reviewed dance videos submitted by "Lopez Tonight" fans, and selected the top two to be GLo dancers for a night.

The evening ended with David Guetta featuring AKON playing the new hit song "Sexy Bitch." This was Guetta’s first appearance on US television.

I love what you've done with your sitcom & late night show by combining your Mexican roots with the rest of the Latino population. You bring a different view of Hispanic-Americans.
My family and I watch the George Lopez show everynight - and we love it!! You combine serious topics with humor. In my opinion there's no other way to deal with life issues, got to have a sense of humor.
And Lopez Tonight - Awesome!!! don't stop there's no other late night show that comes close. WaPPaa!! You Got this!

Mr. Lopez:

I'm African American and my family and I make your show a family event. Your show is very funny and great entertainment. I live in Houma, Louisiana where there is not much to do. I am a librarian and my wife is a school teacher. We have two teenage girls and we really love your show.

Keep up the good work and continue to invite a variety of guests. Thank you so much.

Carlos in Houma, 60 miles west of New Orleans. Largest city before you hit Gulf of Mexico.

Teresa on December 14, 2009 @ 12:31 PM

I want to know why George didn't ask Katey Sagal if Sons Of Anarchy was coming back for a third season. That would have been one of the first questions I would have asked her about her show.
